
Home Visits
- Collect and review mail
- Collect credit card receipts for credit card bill reconciliation
- Prepare and sign checks for bill payment with the client
- Arrange for client to have cash on hand
Bill Paying
- Ensure all bills are paid on time and with the appropriate approval
Account Reconciliation
- Make bank deposits
- Make withdrawals to provide cash on hand for client
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Prepare credit card reconciliation
Tax Document Organization
- Compile tax material and financial statements for the client’s accountant for year-end tax preparation
Reporting
- Provide monthly income and expense report (reports can be reflected by check number order and/or by type of expense categories)
- Produce monthly check reconciliation summary
- Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statement to include reconciliation of the bank statement balance
- Provide summary report from investment statements

A free one-hour assessment consultation involves a discussion of what level of bookkeeping and record-keeping services would be most helpful. This can be done via an in-person meeting in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire or by telephone. Following the assessment, Carole will provide a written recommendation and cost estimate for the mix of services that she thinks will be the most helpful for you, selected from her extensive range of services.
